The Company collects personal information from a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner sufficient to enable the Company to perform the tasks that have been requested of us by these users. This information will vary depending upon whether you are a Places Nearby Advertiser or a Car Park Owner (or manager). This personal information will always be collected directly from you in a reasonably apparent manner, as we provide our services to you. If you do not provide the personal information the Company requests, it may not be able to provide you with the relevant service which you are requesting. The information collected may include (but not be limited by):

• Name
• Business details (including ABN, ACN, logos and website links)
• Street address
• Email address
• Contact details
• Password details for exclusive use within the website
• Feedback regarding our services

Generally the Company does not purposefully collect sensitive personal information.

The Company does not collect your financial details directly on our website. All financial details will always be collected by an external party (as nominated by the Company, and processed via a web link) sufficient to transact payment for advertising services. These details will not be held for future use on behalf of the Company.

The extent of this information is controlled by a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner to the extent that only that information which is not already public knowledge, but which they want to disclose within the advertisement, will be disclosed. Any such personal information included in an advertisement by a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner becomes public information by its nature. It is the responsibility of a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner to ensure that all personal details within the advertisement are current, correct and sufficient to render the advertisement useful to Visitors. The personal information contained within their advertisement is only available to Visitors of the website for the period during which their advertisement is active.

For a Places Nearby Advertiser your personal information is only accessible for alterations by you, or in exceptional circumstances (with consent) by an approved Parking Search employee or subcontractor. For a Car Park Owner personal information is only accessible for alterations by an approved Parking Search employee or subcontractor, but only after written instructions to do so have been submitted to the Company by the Car Park Owner. It is the responsibility of a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner to ensure that their personal details on the website are current and correct.

Parking Search may share your contact information with Rentmy Carpark (the Parent Company) and any subsidiaries of the Company or Parent Company, provided it is within Australia. To the extent that this may happen, the Privacy Policy (contained herein) of Parking Search shall override any Privacy Policies of other companies involved. This shared customer contact information is used to send a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner (via email) updates about our Company, and promotional material from subsidiaries of the Company or Parent Company. All of these promotional email campaigns will give you the opportunity to decline receiving future emails. Campaigns from external unrelated companies will not occur as a result of this sharing of information.

Parking Search reserves the right to sell or distribute (in any manner the Company sees fit) the database of Car Park advertisements, both past and present.

Disclosure

Generally your personal information will only be disclosed as required for us to perform the services you have requested of us.

In the event that the Company engages a third party to perform services which involve handling personal information, the third party will be subject to the same Privacy Policy obligations as the Company. The Company warrants that they will take reasonable steps to ensure the third party only uses this personal information for the purpose of providing the service you have requested of us.

The Company may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires disclosure. This may be as a result of situations where we have good reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify anyone who may be guilty of a criminal act.

Any information provided freely by a Places Nearby Advertiser or Car Park Owner for their advertisement, or our website advertisement forums, or communicated in third party chat areas or forums becomes public information by its nature. The Company can not guarantee the security of any information you disclose in these areas.

Security

Whilst the Company will take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of information submitted to our website, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, once we do receive your transmission, we will ensure all the collected personal information is stored in a secure server with password protected access only available to authorised personnel, as per industry standard.

The Company makes no warranties with regard to the adequacy of these security measures. A Places Nearby Advertiser is responsible for the security of their user name and password. As your primary defence against the disclosure of your personal information, you need to strongly safe guard your Places Nearby Advertiser user name and password, and under no circumstances disclose these details to a third party.

Remember to close your browser when you have finished your Places Nearby Advertiser session. This will ensure that third parties can not access your account if you share a computer with someone else, or you are using a public computer.

A Places Nearby Advertiser can access or amend all personal information that we hold on them by logging onto our system and using their Places Nearby Advertiser user name and password.

A Car Park Owner can request that any personal information that they have previously provided Parking Search be amended or removed by contacting the Company (see below).

For Visitors to the site, the Company stores no personal information.

Definitions

Car Park: A car park operated by a Car Park Owner, available in some capacity for public use (free or for a fee), and used in full or part for the purposes of parking cars, trucks, motor cycles or any other vehicle.

Car Park Owner: An owner or appointed manager of a Car Park.

Company: Means Parking Search.

Person: Means an individual, sole trader, partnership, agent, corporation or other legal entity.

Places Nearby Advertiser: Means the Person placing a Places Nearby advertisement. By definition a Places Nearby Advertiser will have a secure account (homepage) within the website, which they control.

User: Means any Person (other than the Company) using the website for any purpose.

Visitor: Means a Person who is perusing the Parking Search website, but is not a Car Park Owner or Places Nearby Advertiser.
